PROGESS

Here are some drafts as for the countdown for the social. We wanted to do sneak peaks on the objects without actually showing the whole piece! I think Once or twice a week with these kind of post could be a great reminder and to grab the attention of the public.  I was looking at woods on art instagram page and kinda looking at the what they post to promote their exhibition for birds in art.

https://www.instagram.com/woodsonart/ Great Example! I think this could help us with our social media pages and how we can go forward with promoting our online exhibition. Especially the countdown with pieces but I think doing certain parts of the images like teasers instead of the full image. https://www.instagram.com/melbourneholocaustmuseum/ The consistency in post such as the color pallate I as well like the style of some of the post such as the half text and half picture in which could be nice for our post

Accessibility

Accessibility is crucial for a web exhibition site because we want all viewers to be able to fully enjoy and navigate the content. By ensuring that our site is accessible to everyone, we create an inclusive experience that allows our project to stand out and reach a broader audience. I believe incorporating alt text could be a good practice we can put into our web exhibition. It ensures that visitors using screen readers can fully engage with and understand the artwork and content presented. By including descriptive alt text, we make our exhibition more inclusive and accessible to all audiences.

I found this book on birds and was immediately drawn to the title design, mainly because the B’s appear as if birds are emerging from them. When looking closer, it becomes clear that this effect is created purely through thoughtful typography, which I found especially compelling. My own designs were initially inspired by this book, and from there I began playing around with a variety of fonts. This eventually led me to a more organic yet refined feel. I believe this style aligns well with the theme “Birds in Art,” balancing nature with elegance. I chose to use brown tones because many of the pieces in the image list contain elements of brown, allowing the title to visually connect with the artwork and palette.
