"Pop, subcultures and the future of graphic design: an interview with Experimental Jetset" Response
According to the article “ Pop, subcultures and the future of graphic design: an interview with Experimental Jetset”. What sparked an interest while reading this article was that an interest they all shared led them to where they are now. Post-Punk was a gateway and inspiration for their work now. Without Post-Punk, they wouldn't have had the courage to go to art school and be involved with graphic design. That section stood out to me the most, especially since I feel I had an entry way through graphic design and can relate to how much an interest can change your whole life and lead you somewhere you never thought you would be. My whole life til college, I would never call myself an art student. I never took myself as an artistic person and saw myself as someone who was not good at it.
