Hello World! Processing

From watching "Hello World! Processing!" documentary, I really liked how Marius Watz described coding as a language you have to describe ideas in, for the computer to execute them. That communicating to a computer this way needs to be very clear and specific in order to accomplish your desired idea.

He also mentions that code can look very inhuman or frustrating but it has a sense of elegance that comes from it and being able to communicate clearly and specifically through it.

An interesting statement that was said in the TED talk by Kevin Salvin and he mentions that it opens a new insight in contemporary general math that has been something we take and use in the world to something that starts to shape it. It was a well said statement towards coding especially since we are learning java script currently and learning the math that goes on between it. I really don't enjoy math but I can agree that it's something that is shaping the world we live in.

Lastly, I like how they mention how exploring, experimenting and playing with code as a new way of realizing ideas. As I have been learning code this semester, I truly have been enjoying it and have brought a new sense of creativity while experimenting with code. It's truly about experimenting what works and what doesn't work, and to just have fun with it!
